My review

When I first read Reason to breathe, I was hooked to this story and I rooted for Emma and Evan from the start. After everything that happened to them, they deserved a happy ending, especially Emma, with all the abuse she took over the years. After Emma left Evan at the end of the second book, she tries to forget. She doesn't let anyone get too close, only he roomates get a glimpse of real her and Sara, who is the best friend I ever read about. I also liked Cole, who is Emma's friend with benefits, and I was sad for him. When Emma and Evan cross paths again, she is not the same girl she used to be and Evan can't help himself to be around her. From thereoies a series of challenges for the two, the truth about everything comes out and they have to try to forgive and forget and learn to trust others and themselfes. I am happy this series ended the way it did, withhappiness instead of sadness. Evan and Emma both deserved it.
