Blog tour: As long as you love me (2B Trilogy #2) by Ann Aguirre ( eARC Review + Giveaway)

Summary:

Most people dream about getting out of Sharon, Nebraska, but after three years away, Lauren Barrett is coming home. There are the justifications she gives to everyone else—missing her family, losing her college scholarship. And then there’s the reason Lauren can’t admit to anyone: Rob Conrad, her best friend’s older brother.

Football prowess and jaw-dropping good looks made Rob a star in high school. Out in the real world, his job and his relationships are going nowhere. He can’t pinpoint exactly what’s missing until Lauren comes back to town, bringing old feelings and new dreams with her. But he’s the guy that women love and leave—not the one who makes them think of forever.

Though she’s terrified of opening up, Lauren’s ready to take that chance. Because the only thing more important than figuring out where you truly belong is finding the person you were meant to be with.

My Review:

My review of I Want it that way here

Another great book by Ann Aguirre, As long as you love me is a great addition to the 2B trilogy and to the New Adult genre. We met both Lauren, Nadia s best friend, and Rob, Nadia s older brother, in I Want it that way, we saw a glimpse of them together and now we get the full story and find out so much more about these characters.

Lauren came back to her hometown after leaving college, she has a social anxiety disorder and was trying to cope with it in wrong ways in college so she came home. She always had a crush on Rob, Nadia s older broher, who was a high school jock and now is working construction.

They were always good friends but each felt more without the other one knowing it. Rob has his own issues, feeling like he will always be a dumb jock and who girls only think of for a good time, not forever. Together they start to do some work on Rob s house and they connect even more.

From there there are a lot of steamy moments, a lot of frustration and a few funny scenes and adorableness. These two characters are both really interesting, so perfectly flawed yet amazing together. What I love most about this trilogy is that it is so real, real problems with real people, no stereotypes typical for New Adult. And the friendships in this book are amazing, especially with Lauren and Avery. I also loved glimpses of Nadia, Ty and Sam. I recommend to everyone, it truly is a wonderful read.
